Why do I want to become a Councillor and give Melton city Advocacy ?

As a family man, I understand the challenges local families face and as a small business person, I also understand the problems of small businesses particularly with COVID -19. I will make sure people get the right services. Make sure people’s views are heard and taken into account and I’m ready to give my advocacy to melton council

I can achieve by using my skills and experience from my profession, business, and community leader.

1) What is your vision for the municipality of the above Council?

My vision for the Melton city council is that we become the most liveable municipality in Victoria. Connect people to the Council with its outstanding civic facilities. We can build upon our vibrant community by opening opportunities for education, good transport links, support local businesses, improve parks, better medical facilities. Make Melton as a safe place to live, work, and play.

2) What expertise or attributes do you have which would help you in undertaking the role of Councillor?

I am a Graduate in Project management, founder member of the Not-for-profit organization Australian Multicultural Association Inc which has been awarded as the Best Volunteer of the year 2020 from Gorton. Nominated as the citizen of the year 2018 from Melton. I have acted as an advisory board member for Melton Cultural, Diversity, and Linguistic group. Worked as an IT consultant for Services Australia, V-line, and other Federal government and private organizations. I run a small business.

I have organized several community events and programs in collaboration with local communities, groups with the support of Melton City Council for Melton residents and promoted businesses in the council area which created local jobs and enabled to meet diverse communities.
